Junior Birdman

Uncle Dave came home from Dubai for a few days and the boys could not have been happier.

Will hung out with his doppleganger.
We celebrated Uncle Dave's birthday. As Jack said, "He's old!"

Uncle Dave taught Jack all kinds of cool things but Jack's favorite was "Junior Birdman".
Pretty cool, huh?

Who Needs Toys...

When we have paper bags?!?!Yee hah!

Oh Spring, Where Art Thou

Today, March 27, its a balmy 39 degrees in rainy Virginia Beach. Ahh, spring. We are awed by your beauty. Not.

Seriously, where is spring and why has winter so nastily returned. My boys are ready to play outside and Daddy and I are running out of ways to entertain 3 very active boys indoors. A few weeks ago the twins got a glimpse of what spring can actually be like in Virginia and now I think they are yearning and waiting, not so patiently.

The new playground at Mount Trashmore is really amazing and reminds us so much of the awesome playgrounds in Chicago. The twins were a little skeptical and overwhelmed at first but warmed up quickly and took off!

The swings further demonstrated to us that Will and Henry are so different. Will loved it and Henry not so much.

The slide, on the other hand, was a hit for both. There was even a small double slide, made especially for them :)
They couldn't wait to climb back up and try again!
Ahh, sunshine. We can't wait for your return!

Life

Our blog posts have been few and far between but its not for lack of stuff going on. Quite the contrary actually. Life has been, well, just that...life. The past 2 months have been hectic to say the least. Nana had surgery, Mommy's grandmother passed away, the whole family got sick multiple times (first with bad colds and then with the dreaded stomach bug), Daddy threw his back out, Papa had serious heart issues and had a stent put in, Mommy and Daddy took a mini 4 day vacation to Las Vegas with our friends from Chicago, and Uncle Dave flew home from Dubai for a week. Not to mention that every day life with 14 month old twin boys and a 4 year old big brother is crazy enough by itself. As nutso as our life is though, we wouldn't trade it for anything. We are blessed to have such a wild and crazy life because thats what makes it memorable and I know that someday I will look back and wish with everything that I am that I had this time back!

Teeny Tiny Spaces

So Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum like to put themselves in the smallest spaces imaginable. The tighter the space, the more enjoyment!

The pots and pans cabinet. They take all the pans out and crawl in. After they entertain themselves in there for a bit, they carry the pots all over the house, banging them on the floor and walls!
Ooh a shiny light!
What?!?! He's a human pretzel!
What is this, you ask? Notice the floor register in Henry's hand? Yep, they removed the register and slid right in!
Big Brother Jack is always there to squeeze right in!
