BUSTED!

Will is a master at outsmarting the babyproofing in our house.  We don't have gates anymore because he is a spider monkey and could scale them.  We didn't have barstools for the longest time because he liked to hang out on the counters.  He figured out how to undo all doorknob covers (and proudly announced "I broke it" every time) so we had to put plastic ties around all of them (which made him SUPER mad).  This is what happens when Will is left to his own devices, even for just 5 minutes!

Ok, so this is not what it looks like.  Ok, it might be.  But let me explain.

Papa is undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Florida so the boys don't get to see Nana and Papa as much as anyone would like. Thank goodness for video chatting!  All 3 boys love to Skype or Gchat and tell Nana and Papa all about their days.

On this particulary day, Nana called on the computer while the twins were working on potty training with Daddy.  When they heard Nana on the computer, they came barrelling out of the bathroom before Daddy could rediaper them and ran straight towards the coffeetable where they proceeded to stand in front of the camera to talk to Nana.  Boy was Nana in for a shock!!!



Of course, because we started laughing they started dancing!  Poor Nana...

 

Who Needs Toys?

Seriously, why do we as parents spend so much money on toys when all kids really want to play with is cardboard boxes, Target bags, and pots and pans?  Or in the case of our children...suitcases!

When Nana comes to town its a race to see who can get to her suitcase the fastest.  Why?  Because the twins or Jack fit perfectly inside and are taken on whirlwind trip through the living room.  Exciting and worldly, right?
