So Sweet

Seriously, have you seen anything sweeter? Henry has a blankie and it brings him indescribable joy. It also soothes him to sleep. Melt me.

Ah, the beach!

Finally, warm beach weather. We headed to Sandbridge a few weeks ago to take Wrigley and Jack to play and both had a blast. Jack barely stopped for a picture because he was too busy playing in the sand and filling his water bucket.Wrigley had so much fun running all over the beach. She needed a break before doing it again!

Before we left, Jack took a ride on the playground.

Just the Two of Them

Jack and Daddy make quite the pair. They can be total goofballs and have so much fun together!

We made homemade pizzas and Jack was amazed at Daddy's pie-throwing abilities!Jack had so much fun piling on the toppings.
At dinner, Jack kept asking me to take his picture with Daddy just so that he could say "Cheese"!
See, goofballs!

The Zoo

During Jack's Spring Break a few weeks ago, we decided to check out the Virginia Zoo. Mommy hadn't been there since she was a little girl so she wasn't sure what to expect. Much to her surprise, the place was great and Jack had a blast.

Will and Henry spent most of the super hot day doing this...

Goofball

Indoctrination

What can we say? Our boys bleed the blue and orange of The University of Virginia and really despise that other state school ;) Chris, unfortunately, has relatives who chose to attend VA Tech and gave the twins "Tech" pacis. Daddy wouldn't stand for it and crossed out the "VT" on the front. The taste was still there, though, and Will and Henry simply couldn't stomach it.Ahh, that's better!
To all our Hokie friends and family--we still love you :)

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny delivered his baskets under the dining room table this year and when Jack spotted them he ran into our room shouting, "This is so exciting!"He carefully sifted through his basket as well as Will and Henry's.
Before church we attempted to get a picture of all 3 boys in their matching outfits. Many outtakes later, we settled on this one :) Gotta love little boys in seersucker!

Funny Story:

On Good Friday I asked Jack if he knew what day it was. He didn't know specifically so I asked him if he knew what happened to Jesus on that day. He told me that Jesus died. I then asked him if he knew what happened on Easter. His response: "Jesus came back to life because the Easter Bunny saved him!" Hahahahahaha! I guess in the mind of a 3 year old, it all makes sense!

Also, on Easter Nana always says, "He is Risen!" She was trying to teach Jack to say it this year. He only kind of caught on because on the way to the egg hunt Jack proclaimed from the back seat, "The Easter Bunny is Risen!"

The Required Egg Hunt

We attended our church's egg hunt this year and we invited Jack's BFF, girlfriend, and future wife Miss Maya. A funny side note--Maya and Jack really have a love/hate relationship! A few weeks ago, Maya told Mary Grace and Jack told me that they weren't friends anymore. When I asked Jack why, he told me it was because Maya called him a "stinky butt"!!! A few days later, though, they were back to loving each other.

Jack and Maya are seriously too cute together!!The search for eggs was to be taken very seriously and Jack made sure to get right to work. Each child was allowed to find 11 eggs so Jack made sure to count after each one.
When he found a new one, he made sure to let everyone know it!
Will and Henry came along to observe so that in 2 years they would know exactly what to do and where to look. Our attempt at getting all 3 boys in a picture was fair, at best.
We did, however, manage to snap a great family photo. Thanks Mr. Felty!

Eggcellent!

Coloring, or painting as Jack says, Easter eggs is definitely a highlight every year. Our normally impatient little boy miraculously becomes patient and calm as he waits for each egg to finish and he somehow restrains himself from putting each egg in every cup to make all brown eggs. He was so proud of his eggs, mostly because he made one for every member of the family, including Nana, Papa, Milo and Wrigley :)

Always Skeptical

Will (on the right in the first picture) is such a happy baby but when we put the camera in front of him he becomes uber skeptical. He looks at us like he distrusts us with the force of a thousand suns! Henry, on the other hand, is a ham :)
I wonder where Henry learned that??!! ;)

Interacting

The twins have started to interact more with world around them. They really love the play mat, especially because it has lights and sounds. They "talk" to the jungle animals and laugh at it all the time. They have even started to reach out to grab the toys. Such big boys!!!

Wassup??!!
