Busted...Out

(sorry for the lack of posting recently. It's not for lack if crazy in our lives. In fact it's due to too much crazy...we are moving back to Chiacgo in 5 weeks! We'll get you caught up eventually)

I'm not sure if I want to laugh or cry when looking at this picture. Probably both. Why? Because it proves how Will and Henry work together to be as mischievous as possible and they actually escaped from the house unnoticed!

A few weeks ago I was showering while Daddy made breakfast. The twins were playing in the playroom and Jack was at the kitchen table. When Daddy went to get the twins for breakfast they were no longer in the playroom. He didn't really think anything of it because the house is big and they have many favorite play spots (coat closet, upstairs hallway, dog kennels, etc). However after checking all those places and everywhere else Daddy became a little worried and went back to the playroom and noticed the toddler size hole in the window. That's when panic ensued.

Apparently they had ripped a hole in the screen, climbed out the window, and managed to make it to the ground unscathed (probably 4 to 5 feet down). Daddy rushed outside but they were nowhere to been seen or heard. A minute later he hears "Hi Daddy" and finds them playing in the neighbors Jeep.

It was a truly scary and humbling experience. We always thought we were careful and vigilant but this proved that parents can NEVER be too careful. Thank God they didn't walk into the street or worse.

And don't worry if you don't see them for the next 15 years. It's just because we have locked them in their room :)
