Snowmaggedon!

Just when we thought the snow was gone for the year, the very next weekend Snowmaggedon hit and it hit big. We had plans to go to Nana and Papa's house in Charlottesville and decided to still venture up there for the weekend. We packed the car with all THREE kids and TWO dogs and drove the 3 hours to their house for the weekend. We apparently got there just in time because the very next morning we woke up to several inches of snow. The final snowfall amount was close to 15 inches piled onto the already existing 8 inches---that's right folks, 22 inches total!!! Jack and Wrigley were in cold white heaven.Since Nana and Papa live in the mountains, we decided to take full advantage of the topography and go sledding. The ironic thing was that we had to bring our sled from Illinois to Virginia to use it for the first time.
We weren't sure whether Jack would be scared or intimidated about sledding so we started him out small. He proved to be fearless so we moved to the bigger hill on the other side of the house. Apparently it was "AWESOME"!!!
